Pope Dedicates General Audience To St. Therese
Though just 24 at the time of her death, St. Therese of Lisieux left a lasting imprint on earth through the “highest form of science,” the science of lovePope Benedict XVI spoke of the “science of the saints” --a deep and masterful love of God--in his April 6 general audience in St. Peter's Square. Continuing his series on the “doctors” of the Church, the Pope said St. Therese led a “very simple and hidden life” yet became known and loved universally through her writings. Therese was the youngest of nine siblings when she was born in 1873 in Alencon, France. Driven to pursue a vocation to the religious life, she made a pilgrimage to Rome at 14 years old with her father and a sister to ask permission to enter the Carmelite convent of Lisieux. Leo XIII gave her permission a year later and in 1888, she entered the convent. She took her vows two years later. During this time of transition, her father was incapacitated by mental illness. In his suffering, Therese saw the holy face of Christ in his Passion, said the Pope. In 1896, she herself was afflicted by great physical and spiritual suffering, which would last until her death from tuberculosis in 1897 at just 24 years of age. The faith she showed through this great suffering was "faith at its most heroic, as the light in the shadows that invade the soul," observed the Pope. "In this context of suffering, living the greatest love in the littlest things of daily life, the saint realized her vocation of becoming the love at the heart of the Church." "My Lord, I love You!" were her final words and these, he said, "are the key to all her doctrine, to her interpretation of the Gospel," the focal point of her writing. The saint's writing, namely her autobiography titled "The Story of a Soul," is the means through which many have come into contact with her. In it, said the Pope, "Therese expressed this science, in which all the truth of the faith is revealed in love." He called the book "a marvelous story of love, recounted with such authenticity, simplicity and freshness that the reader cannot but be fascinated!"This love she speaks of, said the Pope, "has a face, has a name, it's Jesus". "Little Therese," he said, "never failed to help the most simple souls, the little ones, the poor and the suffering who prayed to her, but she also illuminated all the Church with her profound spiritual doctrine." Her effect was so great, in fact, that John Paul II named her a "doctor of the Church." The late pontiff later referred to her as an "expert in scientia amoris." This, said Pope Benedict, is "science, that makes all of the truth of the faith shine in love." Source - Catholic News Agency This great Saint, who's intercession I am sure once saved me and my family from a very bad situation and who's relics attracted many thousands of pilgrims in the U.K, shows through her "little way" that the vast glory of God can be proclaimed in the smallest of ways by the most humble of people. Through here interesession and inspiring life may we also "go make disciples of all nations" and also remember that we are all inadequate to do Christ's work but he will make us strong, and loyal and brave and faithful.

Wierd Lessons
Today has been highly amusing !!
In my psychology lesson, when asked about an example of cultural bias, a person is my class said "I hate green .. therefore all green things are stupid" !!
When my friend was trying to avoid one of her teachers ... while watching her movements from under the stairs she suddenly came out with "oh shizzle there she goes" .. which made me laugh all the way through the lesson xD

A Levels and Universitys
I got my first lot of A Level results this week, and Im happy to announce that I got an A in law, this makes it much easier for me to get a B over all in this subject, which in turn makes it a lot easier to get into St. Marys university (YAAAAAY) !!! I'll not mention my other grade lol, Im resitting it (haha)
I'll be happy when I never have to hear, write or think about Kant, when my religious studies A Level is over, hopefully with an A grade :)
Exciting and just slightly horrifying times lol

40 Days for Life
Londons 40 days for life campaign kicked off on Tuesday 8th March, with a candle light vigil! We prayed in the dark, with only candles to light the darm night and the light of faith within us to bring some hope to our souls which were filled with sorrow at the events we had witnessed throughout our pro-life activities. Insults and hatred will not deter us, as we have put on the full armour of God and therefore we are strong despite human frailties... as we pray constantly for and end to abortion, as well as the conversion of souls .
For the next 40 days someone will be keeping prayerful and peaceful vigil outside the bpas clinic in bedford square London (closest train station is Tottenham Court Road) if anyone can come and give us your support it will gratefully accepted.
We must end the culture of death, the very future of humanit depends upon it! If we can save one babys life then we will be filled with joy! However our aim is to save many thousands, millions, billions even. We are serving God in our pro-life activivites and we care to serve no one else, with the help of our Lord, the culture of deatht that exists today willl be totally wiped out.

The Power Of A United And Moral Voice
Through a number of activites and experiences I have been caught up in recently, I have discovered that when the media or secular agenda uses some misunderstood or more often simply false information to launch an attack upon the Church, it is surprising just how effective an unified and powerful moral battle can be! You see we are in times of total war, the Church is being attacked from all sides by several different agendas, we must fight for the Church and be prepared to give our all to defend our Church, Jesus Christ and his Vicar on earth.
I am a Papist and all my fellow Papists, who cling tightly to the traditional teachings of the Church and fight in the public and private spheres to defend these truthes, have difficult times ahead. Have you seen the way people treat the Holy Father, and how they treated the once Cardinal Ratzinger, the Guardain of the Faith...the man who fought with all his energy to protect the Church from heresy and the faith of the people from false teachings broadcast by so many. We must see this man's example and follow it, he gave up his dream job of being a proffesor of theology in German universitys and his love of study to become Arch-Bishop then Cardinal then Pope, all of which was against his chosen path for his life! So why did he do it? He did it because the truth needs to be broadcast loudly and proudly to all the nations!
As we know he suffered greatly through this choice, he had to leave his beloved Bavaria and move to Rome, his kind and loving charecter so clear to his friends and supporters was transformed by the secular and libel agendas into the entirely false image of the "panzer kardinal", he wished to leave Rome and go back to Germany and his brother but instead accepted the election to the Throne of Peter.
If he can give his all to protect, defend and procliam the truth that is taught by the Church, then we can give up a day to go to a rally, or sacrafice our comfort to defend the Church. We pray that no more literal martyrdom happens, but we can if called to it give whats know as white martyrdom, which can include anything from persection, insult and hard times to anything they can throw at us, which of course is endured with love and joy of being willing to suffer for Christ and His Church ! Christ is worth is, the Chuch is worth it so my fellow Papists do not be afraid to proclaim loudly and proudly the truth, and the teachings of the Church, go ahead into the battle with head held high, the battle is long and will be long..but victory is certain because the gates of Hell shall not prevail against the Church
FIGHT THE GOOD FIGTH UNTIL THE END AND RUN THE RACE TO THE FINISH! IT IS AND WILL BE WOTH IT!
